Kim Smith biography

Kim Smith was born on March 2, 1983 in Odessa, Texas, where she currently resides. She has one brother. She attends a renowed high school and is currently in her third year. She's a member on the varsity golf team (golf is her favorite sport), and also serves on the National Junior Honor Society. She likes to spend time with her friends and she keeps her curvy frame fit by playing golf, eating a healthy diet and getting lots of sleep.

In 1998 Kim went to a Model Search America contest with a friend, and David Mogul, president of the organization, asked why her nametag was lableled "guest". She then went from a visitor to a competitor. After 12 callbacks she signed a contract with Clipse management and Ty Kilinic of Dallas.

Kim's agent sent some of her test shots directly to Paul Marciano, President and Creative Director of GUESS?. She was booked on-the-spot for the Fall '99 campaign in Hollywood with photographer Pablo Alfaro. Without any prior modeling experience, Kim quickly proved to everyone that she was a natural.

In February, Kim became the featured model for Maxim magazine's "Real Swimsuit Issue," landing the issue's cover as well as a six page spread. She's also in the 'N Sync video for the single "Bye, Bye, Bye."

She also worked with clients like Glamour, Neiman-Marcus and Ambercrombe & Fitch. She will soon appear in editorials in both Harper's Bazaar and French Elle.
